After uninstalling an application, Windows 10 still requires manual cleanup.

After removing applications through the standard process in Windows 11, numerous residual files, configurations, or caches are frequently found in the user directory's AppData folder and require manual cleanup. This issue has persisted for a long time, and I hope that application uninstallation can truly achieve complete removal without leaving data behind. Seeking system-level solutions or recommendations for third-party thorough uninstallation tools.

You're correct that Windows' standard uninstallation process often leaves residual files, registry entries, caches, and configurations in the AppData folder or elsewhere, which can clutter your system and sometimes cause issues.

This can help you see and delete hidden files and folders, including those in the AppData directory. To enable this option, go to File Explorer, click on the "View" tab, and check the box next to "Hidden items."

You're right—standard uninstallation in Windows 11 often leaves residual files, configurations, caches, and registry entries in the AppData folder and elsewhere, which can clutter your system over time. Achieving a truly complete uninstall typically requires specialized tools or system-level solutions.

Employ third-party uninstallation tools, which can scan and clean up residual files and registry entries after uninstallation.
