After connecting an external monitor to Windows 10, the system automatically restarts upon shutdown.
After connecting an external monitor, the computer automatically restarts immediately or after a brief delay when performing a system shutdown (suspected to be woken up by the peripheral). Disconnecting the monitor cable allows normal shutdown. Common online solutions (such as adjusting power settings) are ineffective. Seeking hardware/driver-level causes and solutions.

Check and update or reinstall the graphics card driver in Device Manager, and disable the “Allow this device to wake the computer” option.
