After changing the username in Windows 10, both the old and new names appear

When I initially set up my username, I accidentally included an extra character, so I later changed it following the tutorial. However, the system now displays both the old and new usernames, and when I click on the folder with the old name, only one folder remains. Does this situation affect the system or my account? Was the name change successful? How can I resolve this issue completely?

Potentially yes. Having both old and new usernames visible can cause confusion, permission issues, or clutter.

Your account is probably still functioning with the new name, but leftover data might cause access problems or inconsistent behavior.
