Adjusting Spacing of Desktop Icons

Upon initial installation of : 22631.3807.240607-1753.23H2_NI_RELEASE_SVC_PROD2_CLIENTMULTI_X64FRE_EN-GB, it appears that the icon sizes are larger than expected by default. I recommend adjusting the settings to switch the icon size back to the smaller size, which is standard.

I am currently utilizing a laptop with an external monitor, and this setup has been functioning well for an extended period. Are there any specific tools or adjustments that could be employed to resolve this issue?

Additionally, I am experiencing difficulties in removing a white bar that has appeared since enabling it. Despite attempting to address this through the suggested registry key modification, the issue persists. Are there any alternative suggestions available to rectify this situation? Your insights would be greatly appreciated.

  • The Direct Right-Click Method. This is the fastest way to switch between the three preset sizes.

    1. Right-click on an empty area of your desktop.
    2. Hover over the View menu.
    3. You will see three options: Large, Medium, and Small icons.
    4. Select Medium (the most common standard) or Small to reduce the icon size.
