1600x900 resolution and Windows 10 Pro

Why can't I get the above resolution on my monitor any longer? I'm being told Windows 10 Pro does not support that resolution any longer. Why not?

    Je suppose, utile pour tous ceux qui ont un problème avec les anciens PC (Notamment Portables) dont la résolution d'écran de base est de 1600x900 et nécessitait un pilote particulier comme les anciens pilotes ATI. Microsoft n'ayant pas implémenté cette résolution nativement dans la toute dernière mises à jour de Windows 10 (21H2 / Pré-Windows 11), l'image n'est plus au bon ratio après avoir effectué les dernières mise à jour et les anciens pilotes refusent de s'installer depuis.THDTexan

lowering the resolution only enlarges the elements of the screen
Please do not remove updates.

I also have computers with an old graphics card, Win10 Pro. but everything works fine!

Not that it should matter to you, but I like letters and numerals to look normal. 1600x900 is native resolution for my old monitor and native for my new monitor. Absent that resolution, everything is stretched horizontally and squashed vertically. I want it because I want things to look normal.
