1600x900 resolution and Windows 10 Pro
- May 23, 2022
Do you want to have everything bigger on the screen?

Deleted Tried that and multiple variations of that same scheme. One web search returned the statement that Windows 10 is no longer compatible with the above resolutions. So now I’m going back through my windows 10 updates removing them in reverse order. So far no change in compatible resolution list in display settings.

But I still do not understand what effect you want to achieve?
lowering the resolution only enlarges the elements of the screen
Please do not remove updates.I also have computers with an old graphics card, Win10 Pro. but everything works fine!

Not that it should matter to you, but I like letters and numerals to look normal. 1600x900 is native resolution for my old monitor and native for my new monitor. Absent that resolution, everything is stretched horizontally and squashed vertically. I want it because I want things to look normal.
