Microsoft recently indicated that for Delivery Optimization to work, organizations need a high-speed network, and that that "not all locations in commercial customer environments are likely to be connected by high speed networks."

Kurt Mackie&nbsp;&nbsp;Hi Kurk,&nbsp;&nbsp;Sorry if there is confusion.&nbsp; DO does NOT require a high speed network,&nbsp; it specifically&nbsp; helps in&nbsp; those cases where that is not the case.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;If you have a remote user or office with limited bandwidth connection, or just need/want to optimize the amount of bandwidth being consumed for updates,&nbsp; use DO to minimize the amount of update traffic on the link.&nbsp;&nbsp;You can configure how much BW DO will use , and how with below.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
