Sorry if there is confusion. DO does NOT require a high speed network, it specifically helps in those cases where that is not the case.
If you have a remote user or office with limited bandwidth connection, or just need/want to optimize the amount of bandwidth being consumed for updates, use DO to minimize the amount of update traffic on the link.
