Role of Knowledge Manager in Viva Learning

Hi,

We don't use Viva Topics but are looking to role out Viva Learning. What is the significance of the Knowledge Manager (as it is in the set-up of Viva Learning in the admin portal) role for Viva Learning and how does it differ from the Knowledge Admin role. It appears that the Knowledge Admin cannot set Knowledge Managers and this has to be done by Global Admin?

We are licensing a few premium users to begin with in order to create Learning Paths for consumption by all users.

So the main differences is there two permissions is that Administrator has these, so only administrator can manage learning sources and properties:

microsoft.office365.knowledge/learningSources/allProperties/allTasks -
Manage learning sources and all their properties in Learning App.
microsoft.office365.protectionCenter/sensitivityLabels/allProperties/read -
Read all properties of sensitivity labels in the Security and Compliance centers

- Manage learning sources and all their properties in Learning App.
microsoft.office365.protectionCenter/sensitivityLabels/allProperties/read -
- Read all properties of sensitivity labels in the Security and Compliance centers
