Block topic creation for members
Currently topic creation cannot be blocked for users from Viva Engage. Admins are able to delete topics. Here's some more information about Topics lightweight management, you may be referencing an incorrect link for your tenant or not have appropriate permissions: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/topics/topics-lightweight-management?view=o365-worldwide. If the page isn't working, please submit a ticket for additional support.
Please note: Viva Topics, including topics lightweight management will be retired as of Feb 22, 2025. We are in the process of migrating topics back to Viva Engage that are not using Viva Topics and will complete the remaining after the retirement. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/topics/changes-coming-to-topics?view=o365-worldwide
