Scoped search not available in Teams client

Update: we can't use it in Teams on the web either. My bad, should've double-checked before I posted here.
I did some digging and it's not supported in New teams but only the Old one...

NicolasKheirallah Could you point me to where you found that information? https://www.microsoft.com/sv-se/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=148669, and my interpretation of that is that it should work in New Teams. But it would seem that I'm wrong about it. Darn.

- Ah, ok, thank you. Then we've tried the same thing. I'll just have to be patient here. I've also posted this question in the Feedback Portal under Viva Connections. I imagine MS is working on this, anything else would be highly surprising. Thank you so much for your responses, it's been good to have someone else look into this.
