Establishing Hybrid with a Teams Only Tenant
It seems new O365 tenants are already in Teams Only mode and do not allow switching to another coexistence mode. How does an organization with a Skype for Business Server on-premises environment establish hybrid and take advantage of other coexistence modes? Microsoft's documentation still outlines that this should be possible but it seems like a technical impossibility at this point.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem this is possible anymore. Trying to change the coexistence is met with an error that the settings cannot be saved. I opened a support ticket and was told that new tenants are Teams Only and cannot be reverted. This seems to be in conflict with be able to use coexistence modes for on-premises organizations. This also doesn't seem to be documented anywhere. Pretty disappointing and I wonder what on-premises organizations standing up new tenants are supposed to do.
