Universal Print for not Domain Joined Windows Computer
Hey Daniel_Wedewardt thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, you're right: you need to sign in to Windows with your org's M365 account to install UP printers.
If students are printing from OneDrive/SharePoint, they can print files straight from the browser without joining their device.
We also offer a comprehensive suite of Microsoft Graph APIs, allowing customers to support virtually any custom workflow they require.
Hope these solutions are helpful! Thanks.

It seems like such a strange requirement -- is there a possibility for a Universal Print app on the Microsoft Store app, so that once downloaded, the app allows users on Windows Home or not connected to a work /school domain to sign into just the print app to be able to add printers from their org onto personal devices? It seems strange to make Windows users do more work when the MacOS solution is far more comfortable for end users in terms of signing into one app or letting an entire org profile into a private machine.
