I had the same thing happen. What fixed it was completely removing the printer **and** its driver (in Print Server Properties → Drivers), then restarting the PC and reinstalling the latest driver from Brother’s website instead of using the Windows auto one. After that, the “Aborted” error went away. Windows printer drivers can get glitchy sometimes.
