Secure release QR code from iPad

Thank you for raising this, and for following up after contacting Support. The iPad limitation applied to the previous Secure Release implementation in the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.

Since your post, the new Universal Print portal has become available and supports compatible iPads and other tablets through a browser. The Microsoft 365 Copilot app is no longer required.

For a direct shortcut into the portal’s camera scanner:

https://aka.ms/upcamera

On the iPad, open the portal in your organization’s approved browser, sign in with the work account, and use the scanner under Secure release. Installing the portal as a PWA is optional.

Existing browser, camera, and organizational access policies still apply. If the complete flow does not work, please open a Microsoft Support case with the iPadOS version, browser/version, and the point at which the flow fails.
