OEM Discreet Drivers or Generic?

Does Universal Print allow the use of OEM Specific drivers or only a Universal IPP driver?  Will users be able to use full capabilities of devices finishing etc.

    mschotten For some devices I see this as a "must-have" as not all label printers, plotters and production printers can be covered good enough in a universal driver (At least I have yet to see one that is good enough)

    mschotten - Currently, we are focused on getting all the IPP attributes defined in Mopria 2.0 supported. We will be working with OEMs on printer specific requirements as the product grows.

     

    Also note, that for Universal Printers, there is no need to install any driver in Windows clients from where users will print.
