macOS 27.2 breaks Universal Print Setup Allow Prompt
When setting up a new device with Universal Print on macOS 27, the initial window where you "Allow" the new preference pane only points to the root Library folder and not the PreferencePanes folder. The allow button does nothing. This is on the latest version of the app 1.1.0. Anyone else having this issue?

The failure is happening while registering the preference pane, before printer discovery, so changing printer permissions would not address that step. I could not verify a confirmed macOS 27.2-specific fix, but Microsoft documents an installation fallback worth testing.
Quit Universal Print in Activity Monitor. In Finder, right-click Universal Print.app and choose Show Package Contents. Open Contents/Resources, right-click Universal Print Preferences.prefPane, and choose Make Alias. Move that alias, rather than copying it, into ~/Library/PreferencePanes. Rename the moved alias to Universal Print Preferences.prefPane and ensure no alias remains in the app’s Resources folder. Reopen System Settings and check for Universal Print in the sidebar.
If the pane still cannot load or the Allow prompt remains ineffective, collect the app log at ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.com.microsoft.universalprintmac/Library/Caches/log.txt and a Console recording made while reproducing the failure. Provide those securely with your macOS and app versions to Microsoft support; this does not establish a confirmed regression.
