Unfortunately this is definitely an issue with the Konica Bizhubs using the connector from the Marketplace. It's garbage, it crashes all the time, and talking to Konica provided absolutely no solutions for us. They were helpful in troubleshooting, but I suspect they know it's an issue with the client, not with UP.
We have two 550i units and they both do this, regularly dropping and needing to be reenabled, or even occasionally forcibly reset.
That said, we have some Xerox units with native support, and while they work better usually, they have been having all sorts of issues with print jobs not being delivered or taking an extraordinarily long time to be delivered to the printer.

Hi Kathryn, this is why i asked for the Version from the used APP and maybe also firmware level from the bizhub devices. because there are already bug fixes/new versions there to solve the problems with crashes.

- Kathryn_F1701Oct 24, 2024Copper ContributorHi Philipp, unfortunately we are running 1.4.6 of the app (same as the version on the marketplace) and our MP version is 5.6.2 and our IWS version is 4.0.0. I was told these were current when I last called Konica about this about two months ago. Their only option was to look at the timeout/sleep settings, and while we adjusted that, it made no discernible difference. If anything, it feels like it got worse.

Hi Kathryn_F1701 , thanks for reply, and sorry for my late reply.
ok 1.4.6 is the latest version from this app. the IWS level 4.0 is also the latest version, but more important is, which firmware is installed on the bizhub device itself. maybe you have just a version, which does not have the fix for ms universal print....? you can see the version under the Utility - Device information - then there should be a screen with IP-Adress, and Firmware version and also Function Level of the devices. you can also send me a PN.
