Hi. I landed on this discussion while searching for a solution to secure printing at one of my clients. My client is moving to a serverless environment and I need to provide a cloud print server environment. I would like to reccomend M365 Universal print. I am educating myself on M365 Universal Print to see if this solution will work for my client.
I have read most of the MS marketing documentation on Universal Print and the scant technical documentation and it looks like Universal Print will work for my client. However, my client has a requirement that a printed document only be printed when they are standing in front of the printer. I assume this is what is called "secure release".
I have found little information on "secure release" and am hoping you could provide some useful up-to-date (this post is a over a year old) technical information (links, emails, community forum posts, etc.) on how secure print works and where to go for additional information. You're short form takes me to a page that states "we are not taking anymore reponses".
Thanks in advance for your help.
