End-to-end Automation

Hi Everyone,

I am buzzing for universal print as much as everyone but I have one question please. Has anyone been able to fully automate the process from beginning to end? Starting from the installation of the queue on the server (connector) to deploying the printers to end users? I will be investing time into that in the next weeks/months but would like to know if someone has gone further than I have

Most automation can be achieved by using Microsoft Graph PowerShell module or Graph APIs themselves.

I would typically recommend using Universal Print ready printers when possible. To automate the registration of Universal Print ready printers, you may need to follow-up with OEMs. Once registered, remaining process can be automated.

For connector printers, printer registration needs to be triggered from the Universal Print connector. This has to be done manually for now. However, you can do it periodically - for e.g. once a week detect all new printers on the network, add them on Connector and then register them from the Connector.
