Can I add the same printer twice with different settings?
Hello,
Is it possible to add the same printer twice with different settings?
We are not using the connector. The printers are universal print ready.

This isn't possible yet, but soon you'll be able to create multiple printer shares for one printer. Then you'll be able to configure different print settings and access control for each share. Stay tuned!
Yep, totally possible! Just add the same printer twice and give each one different preferences works fine as long as the system treats them as separate instances.
Sorry. I should have been more clear. I'm deploying the printer automatically via a configuration profile. Is there a way to deploy the printer a second time but with the other colour preference selected? I would like this to be automated. This is possible with the on-prem connector, you just add the printer twice on the print server, but not sure it is possible with the full cloud solution as the printer can only be added once? Thanks
I think so. When you use Add printer find and click the link to add it manually. Then create a new port for each. Then in the Printer Preferences configure the settings for each 'printer' and save them as the 'default'.
