Suggestions used to be good now useless

Suggestions in Microsoft To-Do used to be great. Some time over the last year something changed. They are now practically useless...

Suggestions should:

1. list tasks that were not completed the day before
2. list upcoming due tasks

I am pretty sure it used to do both of those, but recently suggestions shows tasks that were completed weeks ago (shown as completed) and just lists a whole bunch of random tasks, nothing useful.
