List order not syncing between devices

The order of items in a list is not syncing between iPhone, Android, and Windows 11. If that list is open on both devices, the manual re-ordering happens immediately. But if it's not open on one device, then the changed order is not syncing after hours or days. The sync buttons are not working - having no effect on list order.

This is a new issue - list order used to automatically update within a few minutes. Just started about a week ago. I'm doing anything different.

List order is is a really important feature! I'm temporarily having manually reorder on every device. Not a sustainable solution.

    I totally get the frustration- I have faced the same issue while living in Italy with my MacBook Pro (Mac1050). The list order just wouldn’t sync between my devices (iPhone, Android, and Windows 11), and it was super annoying.

    What worked for me was clearing the cache on all devices and ensuring that the app was up-to-date. I also logged out and back in on each device to force a fresh sync. After doing this, the list order synced properly within a few minutes again. If that doesn't help, try reinstalling the app on all devices.

    I'm having the same problem. Using iOS, macOS, and web. Reordering only syncs for iOS and macOS if the app is active. Would be nice to know if Microsoft is aware of this and is fixing it otherwise I need to find a replacement app.
