Webinar 'Always let the caller bypass the lobby' feature

I have set up a Teams Webinar, and have set the 'Always let the caller bypass the lobby' feature to on.  My question is with this feature turned on will it allow anyone to join the webinar at any time or will it wait until I have started the meeting before letting the callers in?

    It will allow all participants that dials into the webinar using a phone number to get into the meeting without waiting in the lobby, so yes they will be able to join before the meeting starts.

     

    The setting "Who can bypass the lobby" handles all other types of users, joining via web app or via Teams app. If you set that setting to "Everyone", everyone will be able to join the meeting before it have been started by an organizer or presenter.
