Teams Town Hall
We have been testing the new Teams Town Hall in preparation for the replacement our current solution which is Zoom for all monthly all employee meetings. During these tests we have found that there is a 30-40 second delay in audio for all those that are not presenters. Is this normal feature of Town Hall meetings or can we change this somewhere?

You will find a delay in any transcoded live events platform. It's the encoding into multiple streams and bitrates for the end user that causes the latency.
Microsoft will be releasing Ultra low-latency Town Halls for Teams Premium and Microsoft eCDN. You can read about it in the https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=New+Last+Week&searchterms=486535#owRoadmapMainContent - JakeSullyCopper ContributorThis is normal. Town Halls are replacing Live Events which have a 20-30 second delay between presenters speaking and when attendees hear them. Only Teams Meetings/Webinars are instantaneous.
