Teams Town Hall - preventing meeting responses when publishing the event
When publishing Town Hall events, is there some magical switch that needs to be thrown to prevent all of the meeting replies from being sent back to the publisher? Not finding much on this anywhere. I had a person publish an event to 1500 people (via distribution list) to ensure the event was on calendars, and received hundreds of responses. It seems like that would/should default to no responses, but those features are unavailable in the Teams calendar (only in Outlook). Suggestions?

Made a townhall meeting today for 800 attendees sadly we received hundreds of responses too. Checked the calendar in outlook and couldn't find the feature to turn off responses. Please help if anyone found a solution for this. I wish this was turned off by default.

Hi, would be interested in a solution as well. When sending out the invite for a townhall via distribution group to hundreds of colleagues, you receive lots of "out of office" notifications and similar. Any way to avoid these responses in the settings before?
