Screen sharing option is not there?
Hi All, I've been using the Teams Webinar for internal training events and it is very useful - especially because there is the registration page and integration with Outlook. It has solved an issue we had been having for ages!
However, in the Meeting Options (Manage event > Meeting options) it seems that there is no longer the option to allow all participants to share? (See attached screenshot.)
We usually ask participants to share screens so we can see as they practise, but can't find a way to do this. It was working fine last week and in the previous 3-4 months.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks 🙂
- julianuogCopper ContributorOK for anyone who comes across this, I have since learnt the following:
"During a Teams meeting, you can still change someone's role. You can go to calendar to change the Meeting options to select a new presenter. And this also can be done in meeting controls, you just need to click Show Participants, hover over the name of the person whose role you want to change and click More options ... from there, select Make a presenter or Make an attendee."
Was shown the above from here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msteams/forum/all/invite-individuals-to-share-screen-during-meeting/a1dfcbd5-590a-4d6d-bf7b-6cbfc393b56b#:~:text=During%20a%20Teams%20meeting%2C%20you,to%20select%20a%20new%20presenter.
This works for me, but I'm sure there used to be the option to allow everyone to share.
