How do I view an event/meeting instead of editing?

I have some self-created or saved events/meetings that I want to view a clickable link within, but when I try to select the event, the bubble that appears only has "edit" instead of view. The arrows in the top right corner also take me to the page for editing the event. I only want to view the event and the clickable link(s). Is it possible to do this, and how?
