Give permission to multiple email addresses at one time when setting up a closed event
Hello - when setting up a private event for people and groups, are we able to give permission to multiple email addresses at one time (without creating/adding a distribution group)? We are running a private event for 450+ attendees from different external organizations. So far, it seems Teams will only allow me to add them one by one in the "Give permission to" field. Not ideal for large attendee lists.
I do not want to create an outlook group for these folks (which would send them an unwelcome alert they have been added to a group). I have tried copy/paste with all the email addresses at once with a colon after them, a comma after them... but it just yields the response "we didn't find any matches."
Any ideas to avoid adding them one at a time?
- I would create a PowerShell script and add members to that team. For externals you also need to add them to AAD.
