New Microsoft Teams issue, This bot is disabled. Contact your IT admin for more information

This issue is happening only on new Microsoft Teams desktop application for some selected users
It works fine with old Teams classic and new browser application for all users.

Senario:
When an effected users click on adaptive card button, user is getting error "This bot is disabled. Contact your IT admin for more information".

Also issue gets resolved automatic after few hours. Then some other set of users start facing the same issue.

I am experiencing this issue too with Adaptive Cards in Microsoft Teams. When will it be resolved?
  • Hi itjohnmcclane,

Could you let us know you facing this issue in Web/Desktop/Mobile APP. So that, we will look into it and let you know the update.

We are seeing the same thing for multiple apps (Polly, Bright Polls and MS Form Polls)
We're seeing it in desktop, I haven't tested the app yet. And for now it looks like guest are having the problem. The errors started with New Teams.
As a global admin, I check all settings, policies and right and all looks correct (but not saying I didn't miss anything.

    Hope this information helps

I am seeing the same issue on a custom built app on a free tenant. The app was working fine until 7 days ago. Now I'm seeing this error with Teams chat. Direct Line/Web chat is still working fine, so this is not a code issue. Issue is seen in the teams.microsoft.com client. Client version 1415/24062724814.

Polly (a polling addon) Support had told us the MS is expected to have an update in the next few days that should fix the problem. They could just be saying that but we'll see. I did test it again today to make sure the update wasn't last night, but I'm still getting the same error.

I'm getting the same error using Azure Logic Apps with Adaptive Cards.

The error has persisted for at least a month now.

I've had Adaptive Cards working before.

Any idea when this will be fixed?
