Images in Adaptive Cards not rendering
We have a number of users reporting strange cards in Teams today:
This seems to be happening on Desktop clients:
Mobile clients seem to be mostly working (notice one broken image):
Inspecting web logs in the Browser client show 502 errors for all requests to a specific domain:
Is there anything we can do? I could not find anything online about a potential outage.
We were able to resolve this for apps under our control by moving images from Imgur to an internal domain.
There are still third-party apps that are failing in the above way.
I wonder if this may be a restriction imposed by Imgur. Their TOS states:
You're welcome to use Imgur to host your images, as long as they do not break our Terms of Service. This prohibits using Imgur in the following ways.
- As a content delivery network (CDN). This includes web objects like logos, avatars, icons, banners, and more.
