Client needs a "license" to see our app icon?
Hi culander - The authentication mechanism for users can involve single sign-on (SSO) using Microsoft credentials or third-party OAuth Identity Providers. This authentication process is essential for verifying user entitlement and enabling the corresponding app functionality for the logged-in user.
For more details, apps authenticate for users in Microsoft Teams, please refer to the official documentation on Apps authenticate users.
Dinesh-MSFT - thank you! Our authentication is directly through Microsoft. Do you really think that would be the reason the icon wouldn't display?

Hello culander - Could you please more information and repro steps like it is a 1st party app or custom app?
Are you sideloading the app?
Please share Manifest app package, so that we can check it once from our end and let us know if any other configuration is done in Teams Admin center.- culanderJul 03, 2024Copper ContributorCan I send you the manifest file in an email instead of a public forum? Also, I'm not sure of the difference between a 1st party app or custom app. I guess it's a custom app because we built it, Microsoft didn't build it. Is that what you mean?
