Surface Pro 7: LAN connection getting lost if connected to Dock 1

Hello,

I have connected the Surface Pro 7 to LAN via Dock 1. If I switch to energy mode (suspend) and return, the LAN connection is lost . In order to re-establish the LAN connection, I detach and attach the cord between Surface and dock.

Is there anything to be updated / checked? Is this issue already known by anyone? Is maybe dock 2 required to work properly?
