Surface Pro 7 Dead slow on Windows 11 Windows update

I have a Windows Pro 7 i5 CPU and 8GB Memeory 256GB ssd. The machine works fine not the fastest in the world but very usable for where I use it for. The anyoning think is that Windows Update runs dead slow in downloading and installing. I run Windows 11 Home V23H2 but it does it as long as I have it. Any thoughts how to improve Windows Update performance. Given that there are quit regulay updates coming along it starts getting a bit frustrating.

    Hiya. Are you seeing the actual updates run slow/install slow or the actual "checking for updates" and installing updates slow?

      Hi Rob it’s the download and install. Checking is no issue.
