Pro 10 with Snapdragon Elite
I drank the Koolaid and ordered a Pro Elite. However, I have a question about the 5g ability that will come in the future. Is no 5g for now a hardware restriction, ie that there is no nano SIM slot ...
Of course I have no direct knowledge but here are my two cents.
This is a hardware difference. The current Surface Pro 10 doesn't have the cellular modem built into it where the newer model will. It will also likely use an eSIM rather than a physical card as this makes it much more flexible.
There could be many reasons for the delay. The hardware may still require some work, the software and drivers may not be completed, or they could still be testing and awaiting approval by the FCC, or it could be any combination of these.
