Microsoft Surface Laptop Pro Note 2

Hello, my laptop surface has some problems when using. The new problem I've recently encountered is about VLC player; I downloaded it and played some videos, but after a time, when I search the app I can't find it, even in Control Panel it doesn't exist, but the problem is that when I play a video, it starts playing with VLC! I tried to install another VLC, but the problem is now duplicated; sometimes it plays with the second one & sometimes with the first one, and they are both ghost disappeared in my computer! Could you please help me to resolve the problem. Thank you
