Which method are you using to connect this. I have successfully used my Studio Laptop 2 to use an older Surface Pro 5 as a second screen using Mirror Cast (project). I had to install the wireless display app (which is not installed by default) to allow the project to work.
Is this the method you are using or are you trying to use a cable method?
