Computer speakers Bose Companion 2 III with surface pro 8

Hello community,

Is anyone out there using the Surface Pro 8 with bookshelf computer speakers? I have a pair of Bose Companion 2 III that are connected to it. I see in specs that the audio for the surface 8 is 

Dual far-field Studio Mics
2W stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos

Does anyone know if the Bose speakers which are 45 watt okay to keep using with surface 8. The sound is good but just wondered if the 2W is going to blow up at some point.
