Surface Laptop 4/5 Reinstall w Editon Change --> Hardware Drivers?

Hi,

since I'm running again into the same issue, I am asking here for a better solution.

We run a bunch of Surface Laptops. Most of them are Windows 11 Home Editions. We are working cloud only and with the new Hardware I want do fully AD Join all devices. So far so no problem.... Except:

I need all devices on Windows 11 Pro. Your answer might be: Well then do an edition upgrade with Pro Key. Sure. That's how we did it in the past.

My problem: If a user does a system reset or restore, he ends up with a Home again. And it's me who needs to explain what to do....

I want all devices on Windows 11 Pro when a reset is done. So I did a bare metal setup with Windows 11 Pro. Some of you know what happens. No Hardware is working. You need external Mouse and Keyboard. Then you need a LAN cable and run Windows Update for everything working.

I do not want that. I want a driver package which I am able to install BEFORE the system goes online.

I have installed it, but still nothing is working.

So do I really need Windows Update or the long way via Home --> Key --> Pro?
