- How did you install Windows? Did you use the Microsoft surface recovery image and follow the instruction on how to make a bootable usb? If you enter the model and serial number you will get a specific image tailored for your device which when I have used usually removes any software glitches. Let me know if you need help but you should try this and see how your device performs.
