Hi,
Thanks for sharing the battery report. To better understand what’s consuming power on your Surface Laptop 7, I recommend generating a detailed battery report and reviewing the usage section. This will show which processes or activities are draining the battery most quickly.
Steps to generate the report:
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
- Type: powercfg /batteryreport and press Enter.
- The report will be saved as an HTML file (usually in your user folder).
- Open the file in a browser and check the Usage and Battery Drain sections to see what’s consuming more power.
This will help identify whether the fast discharge is caused by background apps, connected standby, or a deeper firmware issue. If you notice abnormal drain even with minimal usage, it may point to a driver or firmware bug, in which case updating Windows and Surface firmware is the next step.
