Surface Hub S2 does not start recovery mode - what to do?
Are you making sure that you are using the surface Hub 2S Windows 10 Team Edition to try and recover? I was tempted to use the Windows 11 one myself since it's newer but it will not boot until you install Windows 10 Team Edition again and then walk through the process to upgrade to the Windows 11 Microsoft Teams Room os. Once it's been upgraded, you can recover with the Windows 11 image, but not before.
Also remember when creating the recovery USB, to follow the instructions very carefully. You have to first create a recovery drive using the Windows 11 built-in utility, and then extract the contents of the recovery zip file onto that same usb stick. You overwrite any files that have the same name. That should make it boot as long as something else isn't going on as well.
Be careful with that flash drive and don't plug it into any other systems though. I plugged it into my laptop and accidentally booted from it and it has caused some major issues for me.
