Surface Hub Creators Edition - error retrieving scheduled meetings
We can see the recent files, we just get an error in the meetings section. I submitted a case for this and I was informed that the meetings will only display for users who have mailboxes homed on Exchange Online. It does not work for mailboxes homed on premise.
I asked for on prem mailboxes to be added to a future update.
Regarding the original issue - meetings not showing for mailboxes hosted on premise - if you're an on premise Exchange shop with no short term plans to move to Exchange Online, please consider submitting a feature request with your Microsoft representative to either add this functionality or provide an option to keep the sign in button on the home screen while independently hiding the user calendar or files sections.
David Phillips We have created this Case (2106230040000154 )with Surface hub Support Teams for a few months now.
If this is a known issue, why take this long to find the solution?
I have sent SH logs many times and still no answer?

Hi David! Thank you for sharing your resolution with the rest of the community. Always the best path to find out about new issues where the community hasn't had a ton of experience with is by calling Customer Support.
That's where I got the answer - but I always tend to ask the community first before burning Premier hours...
Same error appears when using Exchange Online also...
