Surface hub 2s Teams update issue

We have two news surface hub 2s. Both show same message. I download but can not install or update teams. Please help. Thanks

The 2nd November we now have the similar "Looks like You are using old version of Teams, Update in 28 days, too keep using the app " message on all our Surface Hub 2s. They are updated, nothing happens when trying switch to new Teams. I can click download, it do download, but I can not run the downloaded .exe file. Have also tried to run the Surface Hub in developer mode.

RobinRonholtMeanwhile I opened a case myself and was advised to turn off „Set Time/Date automatically“ and then back on. It seems that automatic updates/downloads will not work properly if there is a few minutes difference because the Hub lost connection to the timeserver.

    chr1spy I tried this on 2 different Surface Hub 2s, they do update Defender both before and after turning „Set Time/Date automatically“ off/on. The time was correct already.
    Still the old version of Teams message "Update in 21 days too continue using the app"
    Software health shows:
    Teams Admin Agent2023.6.30.1 Up to date
    Windows Operating System10.0.19045.3570 Up to date
    Teams App1.6.00.15152 Up to date

    I can click the download link and do download the new version Teams app .exe file but are not able to run in from the Downloads folder.
    I have also tried to have the Surface Hub in developer mode. Still not able to run the downloaded Teams .exe file

    chr1spy Now this Monday the 13th November the "Looks like You are using old version of Teams, Update in 2x days, too keep using the app " message has disappeared from all our Surface Hubs which is good, issue solved, both on Surface Hubs where I had changed Time settings and on those where I had not done anything.

      Hi

      I have a client with the same issue.

       

      We have rebuilt 2 Surface Hubs to get us to our new configuration, registered with Entra ID rather than on-premises AD.

       

      Windows Update works fine, it connects and pulls the updates we need. We have the three specific KBs mentioned in this article that essentially move us from the traditional UWP app to the moderm Teams Rooms on Surface Hub:

      The problem is that we now see the message as per the image that olana1860 shared at the top of this post, and of course an exe file is not valid on Windows 10 Team Edition so when we download it it will not run.

       

      I have an open ticket, but am not getting any progress, so was curious to know if anyone here had any more information, and am specifically interested to know if Teams continued to work for RobinRonholt once the countdown timer expired?

        The "Looks like You are using old version of Teams, Update in 2x days, too keep using the app " message disappeared from all our Surface Hubs when there was a little more than 2 weeks count down left. Why and how I do not know. I think the same must have happened for Olana. I hope the same for your devices. Regards Robin
