Surface Hub 2s memory upgrade?
Is it possible to upgrade the memory on a Surface Hub S2 85 inch to 16 or 32 gigs?
I have the 50inch Hub2s so if its compute module differs to the 85inch then the following may not apply.
I have opened up the Compute Module and unfortunately there are no end user serviceable RAM modules to upgrade.
Regarding the SSD, this can be upgraded via the module bay door that avoids having to remove the whole casing. It if fitted with:
• M.2 NVMe SSD
• Toshiba
• 128GB
• PartNo: KBG40ZNS128G
Do a search on Amazon and you can find upgrades up to 1TB.
Amazon also sells M.2 NVME SSD Cloners.
Remember to disable Bitlocker BEFORE removing the SSD and attempting to clone it.
