Surface Hub & Modern Auth

We have a mixture of Surface Hub v1 and 2s.  All of these meet the basic requirement to do modern auth (OS up to date, authenticate to AAD, have EXO mailboxes, etc).  However, looking at the Azure Sign-In logs over the past month, I still see Exchange Web Services sign-ins (which I believe indicates basic auth is still utilized).  How can I confirm that basic auth is no longer utilized?
