Hi Patty88,
Well at least you got it working. My hubs are a 4 hour train ride away in a remote office, so this whole setup was super frustrating.
So did you just let the update run and eventually it finished?

Yes, I just left them install the upgrades and updates (the cumulative update needs to be triggered manually, after the upgrade), so eventually the devices were up to date. Just make sure that the devices stay powered on, so they do not go on standby (Power and sleep options).
I still do not understand why there is no teamviewer version for this os version after all these years, it would help so much, especially in your case... .
Having said this, still, for the 13K price tag this is absolutely a no go and Microsoft should do something about it.

cezarcretu lol. First you said it would take an hour and now you changed it to 2 hours. Ultimately, this is nonsensical. I am in the same boat as everyone here. This is a $13k boat anchor.
Is there a way to install this update manually by downloading the update file?

Hello fdurchlaub,
Sorry to hear about this. The update process, although known to take longer than usual should complete in about 2 hours and only after a reset.
Before heading down to the office, it might help opening a support ticket and have a look at the logs. If Teams is signed in, you should be able to download the logs from Teams Admin Center.
As for remoting in on the device, this is by design for security reasons and not an overlook.
All the best,
Cezar

I agree, these things a super expensive and this has caused me a lot of
unnecessary headaches.
