New Surface Hub 2S 85, Teams needs update to work, but the Update just fails
The Feature Update will indeed take a long time to install, but should go through in an hour or so. We also recommend extending the maintenance window for unattended fresh installs to 5 hours so that the update has enough time to succeed overnight as this includes downloading the updates, installing and restarts.
Teams update and the rest of the updates will take a lot less time.
Thank you,
Cezar

can someone from Microsoft please respond to this? We bought two of these Surfacehubs 2S 50 and I am stuck in the same situation. These devices behave like 500MHz computers… . You cannot be serious for an over 10k price tag! I am sitting here for 5 hours and the feature update will not get further then „Installing - 20%“ for both devices! What’s going on here?

Microsoft
Hello Patty88,
As mentioned above the Feature Update will take around an hour to complete and this is expected. Other updates will be much faster.
All updates will also take place unattended during maintenance hours.
Thank you,
Cezar

Hi cezarcretu
I have set the maintenance hours from 8pm to 10am and I can see in Entra that the Surface Hub is still on the same build number.
It has been several weeks now and if even a 14 hour maintenance window is not enough, quiet frankly there is something wrong with the update. As I have already factory reset the device once and still have the same issue and someone else has also reported this issue, it seems that this issue is reproducible.
While I could get Teams running for now the Surface Hub wants to reboot after every concluded meeting and is then again stuck on the Update. We have let this run over night and over the weekend and it is just stuck on the reboot.
