Migrated Surface Hub 2S to MTRoW - 3 things I don’t like
Hello! I recently migrated our 85” Surface Hub 2S from Windows 10 Team OS to MTRoW Experience. The process was simple and relatively quick. After getting everything dialed in, here is what I wish the...

I hope that someone from MS is reading this and will make the appropriate changes. We are not asking for the implementation of a new feature, but only for the reintroduction of what was already available. This should not be difficult, especially in the topic of screen sharing via HDMI cable.
I've just connected the Logitech TAP touch controller to the SH2S and the HDMI screen sharing option has appeared again next to CAST on SH2S, which indicates that it is still there from the software/hardware side, it has just been hidden, for some unknown reason.

So are you able to use HDMI ingest from the TAP to share content onto the SH2S?
- Slav1155Mar 20, 2024Brass ContributorThe TAP panel doesn't work properly and share doesn't work, but in some strange way it restores the visibility of HDMI Ingest option on the Surface Hub, which shows that it's still there, it's just hidden. Either it's some kind of limitation on the driver or in the registry.
I won't spend any more time on this topic, I have written directly to 2 people from MS on this topic, if they don't bring back HDMI Ingest then we will just revert to Win 10 Teams Edition and in the future we will buy solutions from other vendors where device functionality is not limited.
