Loss of Audio with Skype on Surface Hub

Has anyone come across an issue whereby there is no sound when using Skype on the Surface Hub?

 

We have 21 x 55" models, and this is the second time the issue has occurred, on different units, in recent months; When making calls from the hub the is no audio output, yet the recipient party can hear everything ok. i.e. Microphone within Skype on hub is fine but no audio output from on board speakers.

 

All other audio from the Hub works fine, it is just the Skype app which is silent. 

Units are running the Creators Update and have all the latest updates applied. I've checked all audio and device settings on the unit.

 

When this last happened a full reset off the hub resolved the issue, but I'm hoping for a more straight forward fix.

    I have exactly the same issue here and i would like to avoid the factory reset, in case that works. Have you fixed the issue without this action? Thanks a lot.
  • I haven't seen that myself and I've worked across a number of different Hubs with different customers.
    I would suggest raising a support case for it, so at least if there is a bug then they can route it through the proper channels.
